APC & Publication Fee
Submission Fee & Payment Policy
All articles published in the Universa Medicina are open access and freely available online upon publication. This is made possible by a Submission Fee that covers part of the administrative and system costs involved in peer review. A one-time, non-refundable Submission Fee of Rp. 500,000.00 (with effect from June 2021) for each manuscript is payable upon submission. Please note that payment of the Submission Fee does not guarantee acceptance of the manuscript. A fee is also required when resubmitting an article that was previously rejected. The submission fee covers a portion of the costs associated with peer review.
All submitted manuscripts are checked for grammar, language, plagiarism, and format before they are sent for peer review. Manuscripts that do not pass the initial checks will be promptly rejected without peer review. Manuscripts may be rejected without peer review if the subject matter is outside the journal's scope and unsuitable for our readership.
